The immediate and immense popularity of The Life of Loi: Mediterranean Secrets’ first season led to Chef Loi’s winning ‘Best Chef in a Series’ at the 15th annual TASTE Awards over culinary televisions’ stalwarts across multiple television channels and shows.

In the second season of The Life of Loi: Mediterranean Secrets, the award winning Loi continues to take us across Greece, sharing thousands of years of knowledge baked into Mediterranean cuisine, teaching the secrets behind some of the region's most classic dishes. From the island of Naxos in the Aegean Sea, to the unspoiled region of Costa Navarino in the Peloponnese, to the magical island of Corfu in the Ionian Sea, Loi gives an insider’s tour of her home country as only she can.

Viewers then join Loi in her NYC restaurant where she cooks with her “fabulous foodie friends” as she demonstrates a unique spin on the tasty, healthy, easy to make dishes inspired by her travels.

Season 2 premiered April 27th, 2024, and is available to stream on PBS Passport, Apple TV+, Amazon Prime Video, Amazon Freevee, Roku, and Plex TV, as well as broadcast on PBS stations nationwide.

Thanks to the immense success of the series, two more seasons and five related series specials are currently in production in Greece, the greater Mediterranean region, and the UAE.

The Life of Loi

Chef Loi’s wildly popular television guest appearances led to her own GBH co-production,two time International Telly Award winning The Life of Loi: Mediterranean Secrets, a 13-part national public television series in which Chef Loi, whom audiences have come to know as “the new Julia Child,” shares thousands of years of knowledge baked into Mediterranean cuisine as she takes viewers across Greece serving up thesecret to making some of the regions’ most authentic dishes.
